Delectable Latte

Exciting new coffee drinks are appearing on coffee bar menus all the time, and this creative trend has also given rise to ever more artistic decorations on the classic cappuccino. The style of pouring steamed milk into a shot of espresso to create a pattern or design on the surface is known as latte art. The espresso, as long as it has a nice layer of cream will do as a canvas for latte art. Various people say that a real coffee is espresso. And pulling a proper shot of espresso is both a science and an art, one that’s increasingly practiced in serious coffee bars all around the city. Making latte art is a particularly demanding work as I’ve notice.

One of the baristas most impressive skills is the ability to create latte art.  I am deeply amazed with the different designs of latte art that was made by great baristas. Their diverse kind of decoration offers enormous scope for creativity, the only limit being your imagination. In making a art latte The brew master has only two colors, white and brown and has to pour liquid on liquid (steam milk on espresso) to create different shapes through a sense of judgment and art. The barista’s skill combined in a presentation of a delicious cup of espresso with latte art will surely entice all of our senses.

I’m not a regular coffee drinker, but it’s amazing how you can put the art in coffee. No matter how bad your day is, getting a cup of this will put a smile on your face.

Keep the FUSE burnin’

Fourth-time Grammy-winner Keith Urban pushes his musical boundaries further than ever on his just-released seventh studio album Fuse. I am not much into country music but I admire whatever Keith Urban does. I am fascinated with Fuse when I heard the entire songs. Keith never ceases to amaze me because this album sounds different from the others.

The Australian country superstar offers us a fusion of pop and country by incorporating the guitar and the banjo. He worked with eight different producers to get the final product. Like most songs on the album, the track is a love song about a couple. Miranda Lambert and Eric Church performed duets with Keith on this album, also contribute to the new sound. Fuse can most accurately be described as musical fusion. The lead single “Little Bit of Everything,” which went Top 1 at US country airplay, revolves around circular banjo riffs and drum loops before a laid-back chorus rolls by with an exceptionally smooth flow. The song delivers a laid-back country song with hints of pop and R&B. I always get my groove on whenever I played this song. It has movement and vibes as well.

This album will want you to get in the car and cruise with the windows down, partially because of the fun-loving and cool beat moreover, because he mentions that in a number of the songs. The subject of cars were a reoccurring theme in this album including tracks like “Somewhere in My Car,” “Cop Car,” “She’s My 11” and “Red Camaro.” Subject like cars have been successful for Keith in the past, and he will surely see radio success with a number of these new songs. The joyriding “Red Camaro” and charging “Somewhere in My Car” blend accentuated and creative banjo licks with electro-pop beats. On the story song “Cop Car,” where attraction explodes when living a little dangerously, stargazing moments come with soft keyboards.

Another standout track on the album is “Shame.” It’s a more serious song, as the title suggests, but it’s very reflective and a great upbeat yet sad song. “Come Back to Me” is a beautiful song that reminds me and other fans why we love Keith Urban in the first place. It’s simple to get the sense that Keith is very in love, perfectly happy and contented in his life. Keith also wrote lyrics of songs about his wife (actress Nicole Kidman).

With its boundary-pushing mission firmly accomplished, this is an expansive project that will challenge listeners to keep up. Keith’s guitar work ranges from contemplative to fiery. For me he is one of the greatest music artist in the world today. I hope I can watch him performing live in his tour. Fuse is amazing album and I really love it!

Sims

My sisters and I are an avid player of the Sims which is best-selling PC game series ever, having shifted more copies worldwide than most gurning shooter franchises could ever dream of. We’ve been playing Sims for ages and never get tired of it. I’ve tried playing Sims 1, 2 and 3 and Sims 2 is what i love best! that’s why during our semester break i decided to re-install it because it really gives me delight whenever i play it. Sims 2 has the same concept as its predecessor and sequel. It is a strategic life simulation franchise in which players furnish the homes and supervise the lives of virtual inhabitants known as sims.

When you create your own sim you can select their distinct personality and set of goals, and typical gameplay revolves around acquiring a job, developing relationships with other characters, and managing a spectrum of personal needs and desires to help them fulfill their dreams. Every character has his or her own personality sliders that indicate how nice, physically active, playful, neat, and outgoing they tend to be, and they can also study up on fundamental skills like cooking and mechanical repair to gain skill points and improve the quality of their own lives. Sims have life goals, wants and fears, the fulfillment of which can produce both positive or negative outcomes. Its like managing somebody’s life and how you can able to turn things right. “You can imagine a Sims country which you could just live your life in,” said producer Rod Humble. And he’s right. You can.

Luscious Citrus

Orange is among the most popular fruits around the world. I don’t think there is any part of the world that you will go to and not find oranges. It is also one of the round fruits that join together as a centerpiece for the table during the New Year celebration. Oranges happen to be one of my favorite fruits. As what i have read there are nine different types of oranges. Tangerines, clementines, cara cara, honey tangerines, navels, tangelos, blood oranges, satsumas, and juice oranges. Not only are they zesty, juicy and delicious, but citrus fruits are also loaded with healthy goodness. Oranges are excellent snack, great for breakfast and are tremendously flexible in their many uses in kitchen recipes. Oranges are also a very nutritionally dense food that is renowned for its vitamin C content and all the health benefits that come along with it, but oranges have much more to offer than just vitamin C.

Citrus fruits are known to be rich in vitamins, minerals, electrolytes and phytonutrients. In addition to these, they also contain carbs, dietary fibre, fat and protein in small quantities. The Vitamin C in citrus fruits in known to be a powerful antioxidant and protects your body from damaging free radicals. Most citrus fruits are an excellent source of Vitamin C. Vitamin C clubbed with its antioxidants helps to increase the immunity of your body. Research has shown that people who consume citrus fruits are known to be less prone to common infections like common cold, cough and flu. Other citrus fruits like lemons contain calcium in a small quantity. The potassium level in the lemon helps to maintain bone calcium density in your body. Potassium helps to prevent the loss of calcium through kidney, thus protecting from osteoporosis.

The health benefits of eating citrus fruits is immense. I therefore conclude that everyone should start having one orange a day and other fruits that has the same quality. 🙂

Cuddly Stuffed Toys

 

In our childhood, teddy bears are warm companions – good listeners, never critical, always reassuring. They are bear-shaped security blankets, huggable enough to fold in our arms, a perfect fit for our laps.

The world of the teddy bear is an innocent one, a world that gives delight and hurts not, a world that appeals to all generations and all nationalities.Teddy bears don’t need hearts as they are already stuffed with love.

These very endearing family of stuffed toys is my little sisters collection. There’s something about these stuffed toys that’s impossible to explain. When you hold one in your arms, you get a feeling of love, comfort and security.

 

 

Usual things around

We have a lot of books in our house and my family were very passionate in reading. The picture above is some of their collections. Whenever you read a good book, somewhere in the world a door opens to allow in more light.

This cup filled with love and dedication was given by my best friend in my 18th  birthday last August. This is one of my personal treasures.

My brother just recently had this as his new additions to his gadget.

This very cute rabbit Japanese doll was given by my uncle from Japan. It has a great sentimental value for all of us in the house.
